The Japanese basics brand Uniqlo, betting on a comeback for the American consumer, is taking advantage of recession-lowered rents to expand in the United States.
So Eric and KL decide to go to Provincetown for the day. And if you know anything about Eric you would know spontaneity is not something he does. Ever. So anyway, it was supposed to be a day trip, I knew those two would end up staying over. And they did. To hear Eric tell it, they left A-House and these two 21 year olds just decided to come home with them. They were from DC and here for the first time. Personally I think that anyone under 27 is just a kid, but Eric and KL loved it. And so Eric came home happy.
Chalk it up to hanging it out with KL. Bad influence.
It is always funny to me when people are completely in the wrong and throw you under the bus and then instead of apologizing just act overly nice to you the next day. Frankly, I don’t need you to be nice to me. We work together just be respectful. And I don’t need you overcompensating for being a complete jerk the day before.
Would def stay here. Gotta love Brooklyn for carving out their own identity.
Wythe Hotel, a renovated factory on the Brooklyn waterfront, has finally opened their doors. We can’t wait to see the city views from the bar in the sky, as well as try the food at Reynards, the hotel’s restaurant (from the owner of Marlow & Sons and Diner).
I have never really cared about what section of a plane I ride in, until my London flight. Fortunately I was taking a night flight from NYC so I would be able to sleep, and I was in first class. It really is the best way to travel long distances. I had my own area which after dinner was converted to a lay flat position. I was given a dope kit to freshen up as well as pajamas. Now I was on an older American Airlines Boeing 777 so perhaps accommodations weren’t as luxurious as say Qatar Air, but the service by the staff was first class and the food was pretty amazing. I was able to keep the pajamas which I sometimes wear just to get a better night’s rest. I would highly recommend first class should anyone have the opportunity.
